DC Information

A common permanent resident throughout this region. Breeds from late April to early August. The female lays its eggs in other species’ nests, and does not raise the young. The male is glossy black with a brown head; the female is dark brown-gray.

There are two males (dark with brown heads) with a female at the upper left.
